Gutenberg Kept Us on Track for the Singularity…

In order to understand the future, one must appreciate the past. When Gutenberg put his invention to use, the line of exponential growth began lifting from its seemingly flat trajectory. The era of the literate person had begun. A fundamental shift in what it means to be human had occurred. A human from then would barely recognize the world now, as we will barely recognize the world of the future.     Yea, that’s right. Some people are just so bend on forgetting the past that they forget that many things can be put to use for the future. IF only more people realize this, they would see that the past is not that ‘over’ after all.
