I read one of his books. And could not disagree with his ideas, although the way we live, capitalism, change goes slower because everything is related to money and the industries. Those industries live in cicles, in which they are invented, they grow, stabilize, decrease and die. Those cicles break new technologies, and new possibilities. So even though we are capable of flying from NY to Paris in less then 2 hours in military planes, we will not fly that fast for a while.

Your english is fine, and much better than my Portuguese. Hey, I think I just spelled Portuguese correctly! Anyway, I agree with you, that when these industries come up with new technologies, new possibilities arise.
Unfortunately, we will not all be able to partake in all of those new technologies, they are too costly for the individual. In the end I don’t think it matters though. I think what matters is that the technology exists, and the new possibilities it brings is what this blog is all about!
It’s the endless cycle, the march of progress, the unfolding of time, the making of history. That’s the important thing.
